My team initiated the production of Pride-themed illustration collections after identifying a clear gap in Canva’s library. Beyond filling that gap, we saw an opportunity to elevate the overall quality of illustrations offered to our users.

The collections had a ripple effect across Canva. It has sparked the creation of Pride template campaigns by other teams and providing a strong foundation for inclusive, celebratory design. To this day, the illustrations we produced years ago are still being used and adapted into new templates, proving their lasting impact and relevance.
