Canva x Monotype
Canva had added an extensive collection of Monotype fonts to its library — but fonts alone don't tell designers how to use them. The opportunity was to bring the collaboration to life in a way that was genuinely useful: showing real creative possibilities, not just announcing new additions.
I wrote the creative briefs for a series of illustration collections built around distinct user personas and business types — food brands, hospitality, retail, and more. Each brief defined the visual direction, tone, and font pairing logic for that persona, translating typography into a full creative world that designers could immediately see themselves using. I managed production end-to-end, ensuring every collection came together with the cohesion and quality the collaboration deserved.
The result was a suite of template kits tailored to specific industries and audiences — giving Canva users not just new fonts, but a ready-made creative system built around who they are and what they're making.
